Despite being initially included in the 55-man provisional squad for AFCON 2023, Southampton manager Russel Martin confirmed that Sulemana’s fitness struggles will keep him sidelined. The winger’s persistent injury issues, limiting him to just 13 appearances in the current campaign, have led to his exclusion from the squad.
