Black Princesses Gear Up for World Cup Qualifier Against Senegal with Training in Thies

The Black Princesses, Ghana’s under-20 women’s football team, have commenced their preparations in Thies, Senegal, ahead of the crucial first leg FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Senegal. In their initial training session, twenty-two Princesses participated, with the exception of Hannah Nyame, who sat out due to a minor injury.

The upcoming clash against Senegal is scheduled for Saturday, January 13, 2024, at Stade Lat Dior in Thies. The team is focused on delivering a strong performance in the first leg, with the anticipation of a challenging return leg at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, January 21, 2024.
