Inaki Williams Joins Ghana’s AFCON 2023 Preparations After Health Delay

Athletic Bilbao’s Inaki Williams has landed in Ghana ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast. The forward arrived in Accra on Thursday, a few days later than planned due to a brief illness that extended his stay in Spain. Williams, in fine form, is set to bolster Ghana’s attacking lineup as the Black Stars aim to clinch the elusive title, ending a 42-year drought.

Originally slated to arrive on Monday, Williams’ health setback prompted the delay, but he is expected to join his Black Stars teammates in Kumasi on Friday for ongoing preparations.
