Al Ahly has successfully completed the acquisition of two highly regarded Ghanaian prospects, Samuel Oppong and Reindorf Adom Sarbah.

The pair stood out among five Ghanaian players who recently underwent trials at Al Ahly as part of the club’s initiative to scout for African talents. Samuel Oppong, a striker formerly with Slovenian side MSK Zilina, and left-back Reindorf Adom Sarbah, who arrives from Ghanaian club Cheetah FC, both impressed key figures in the club’s youth sector, including Walid Soliman and Badr Ragab.

Samuel Oppong and Reindorf Adom Sarbah have signed four-and-a-half-year contracts with Al Ahly, in accordance with regulations allowing top division teams to register a maximum of five foreign players, distributed across different age categories.

These two additions will join Tunisian talent Mohamed Dhaoui Cresto, who is already a part of the first team and has made 13 appearances under the guidance of coach Marcel Koller.
