Hearts of Oak Appoints Ivorian Coach Aboubakar Ouattara as New Head Coach

Ghanaian football giants, Hearts of Oak, have announced the immediate appointment of Ivorian tactician Aboubakar Ouattara as their new head coach. The capital-based club revealed the decision on Friday, February 9, with Coach Ouattara set to commence training with the players next week.

According to the club’s statement, Coach Aboubakar Ouattara has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Hearts of Oak, solidifying his role as the substantive head coach. The statement also mentioned that the coach will start training with the team after their friendly game against Techiman Eleven Wonders over the weekend.

Possessing a CAF License ‘A’ coaching certificate, Coach Aboubakar Ouattara brings a wealth of experience to the position, having achieved success in various African countries as both a coach and Technical Director.

The Hearts of Oak board expressed confidence in Coach Aboubakar Ouattara’s ability to lead the team to success.
