The vice-captain of the Indomitable Lionesses alerted team medics about her unavailability, leading to her exclusion from the 3rd elimination round of the women’s football tournament for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

To fill the void left by Njoya’s absence, Cameroon’s coach has called upon striker Kameni Flora from FC Ebolowa. The Super Falcons now face Cameroon with the hope of securing victory in the qualifiers, with the winner advancing to the final round of Olympic qualification.
