In a thrilling display of skill, stamina, and power, Daniel Gorsh from the Bronx Boxing Gym emerged victorious over Moses Adjei Selvi, also known as Terrible Terror, from James Town Gym. Gorsh’s dominant performance included ring generalship and punching power, leading to the stoppage and the acquisition of the UBO Africa Super Bantamweight Title, in addition to his national belt.
The crowd-backed Gorsh, nicknamed The Emperor, showcased the potential of Ghanaian professional boxing, hinting at a promising future and the possibility of contending for a world title. Selvi, also known as Selasi, has been involved in boxing since childhood, maintaining a close father-son relationship with Coach Carl Lokko. Having lived in Bukom and Jamestown, he brings a unique blend of calmness off the ring and fierceness within the ropes.
The “Independence Eve Rumble,” organized by Box Office and Platinum Punch, witnessed a vibrant atmosphere at the Bukom Boxing Arena, with enthusiastic undercard matches. Michael Decardi Nelson also impressed by retaining his National Bantamweight belt.
