Renowned Ghanaian football figure Asamoah Gyan has shown a keen interest in exploring business opportunities in Zimbabwe, expressing his admiration for the country’s potential.

During his recent visit to Zimbabwe as the ambassador for international health concern Trek Secure, Gyan was captivated by the country’s offerings. His visit included meetings with President Mnangagwa and officials from the Ministry of Health and Child Welfare, where they discussed potential investments in various sectors.

Reflecting on his discussions, Gyan expressed his eagerness to invest in Zimbabwe, particularly in areas such as immunization and pandemic management, recognizing numerous opportunities for growth.

Gyan, whose net worth exceeds US$40 million, emphasized the importance of successful African footballers reinvesting in their home countries, leveraging their networks and resources for the continent’s benefit. He stressed the significance of utilizing iconic figures to drive development initiatives, highlighting the potential for sports development across Africa.
