Ayitey Bulley, Chairman of the Accra Basketball League (ABL), has expressed admiration for individuals who are actively involved in developing and promoting basketball within the league and across Ghana.

His sentiments were prompted by the success of the Spintex Knights Basketball Club, who emerged victorious in the ABL Men’s Division I league last season during their inaugural campaign in the top division.

In an exclusive interview with Citi Sports, Bulley praised the dedication of individuals who invest resources into the sport, enhancing the level of competition and providing elite opportunities for teams beyond those backed by government security services.

The 2024 ABL season has commenced with participation from 10 teams in the Men’s Division I and Women’s Division, along with 20 teams competing in the Men’s Division II. This showcases the growing interest and engagement in basketball across various levels within Ghana.
