Black Stars Prepare for 2026 World Cup Qualifiers with Camp in Accra

The Black Stars are gearing up for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mali and the Central African Republic, with preparations set to kick off in Accra.

Coach Otto Addo is slated to announce the squad upon his arrival in Ghana on Monday, leading the team’s training at the University of Ghana Stadium for six days starting Thursday, May 30, 2024. They will then depart for Bamako on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

With one win and one loss in Group I, the Black Stars are determined to reclaim their winning momentum. They began with a 1-0 victory over Madagascar in Kumasi but faced a setback with a 1-0 defeat to Comoros in Moroni.

The crucial qualifier against Mali is scheduled for Thursday, June 6, 2024, at 19:00 at Stade 26 Mars in Bamako. Following that, Ghana will host the Central African Republic at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Monday, June 10, 2024.
