Murphy Ndukwu expresses Enyimba’s readiness for their upcoming President Federation Cup Round of 32 match against FC One Rocket, anticipating a significant victory against the Nigeria National League (NNL) side.
Enyimba, four-time champions, will face One Rocket at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa on Wednesday, aiming to secure passage to the Round of 16 in Nigeria’s oldest football competition.
Ahead of the game, the former Heartland FC player emphasized Enyimba’s strength and determination: “We are Enyimba – the big Elephants,” Ndukwu affirmed. “At Enyimba, every game is important, and we approach each match with the expectation of winning.”
“We anticipate a substantial victory because we are a formidable club, although we respect One Rocket,” he added. “It won’t be easy, but with our talented squad and rigorous preparation, we are confident of a convincing win.”
Reflecting on their previous performance at the Samson Siasia Stadium, where Enyimba secured a 2-1 victory over Bayelsa United in a Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) fixture, Ndukwu highlighted his team’s capability to deliver under pressure.
Enyimba’s aspirations in the President Federation Cup align with their tradition of success, aiming to advance past One Rocket and continue their pursuit of silverware in Nigerian football.
