The round of 16 fixtures for the 2024 President Federation Cup have set up exciting encounters, including a North-west derby between hard-fighting Kano Pillars and Katsina United at the New Jos Stadium, Jos.

Kano Pillars, fondly known as Sai Masu Gida, reached the Round of 16 by defeating Doma United 1-0 in the round of 32 at the FIFA Pitch in Abuja. Katsina United also advanced by beating Bayelsa United 1-0 in their round of 32 match.

The fixtures released on Monday by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) also feature former Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions Rivers United facing another NPFL side, Sunshine Stars of Akure, at the Abuja Area 3 Football Pitch.

Nigerian champions Enyimba will take on Nigeria National League (NNL) side Sokoto United on Wednesday, May 29, at the FIFA Goal Project, Abuja. In another NPFL clash, Kwara United will battle Abia Warriors for a spot in the quarterfinals in Ikenne on Wednesday, May 29.

Wikki Tourists of Bauchi will square off against EFCC FC of Abuja in Kano, while Kebbi United and Akwa United will compete for a quarterfinal spot in Bwari, Abuja. Additionally, El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri will tackle Shooting Stars in Abuja Goal Project.

In a Lagos derby, Ikorodu City will face Inter Lagos, though the match will be played outside Lagos in Akure.

All the round of 16 matches are scheduled to be held on Wednesday, May 29.
