Ghanaian-Born Teen Daniel Adu-Adjei Honored as AFC Bournemouth Academy’s Player of the Year

Daniel Adu-Adjei, an 18-year-old forward with Ghanaian heritage born in England, has clinched the prestigious title of AFC Bournemouth Academy’s Player of the Year.

Adu-Adjei’s exceptional performances throughout the season with the U18’s earned him this accolade. Since his transfer from Fulham to Bournemouth in 2021, he has showcased his talent by netting an impressive 26 goals in the youth leagues.

The gifted forward, who inked his maiden professional contract last year, has been eagerly anticipating his senior debut for the club. Despite his English birth, he remains eligible to represent Ghana at the international level, having yet to make an appearance for any of England’s youth teams.

Adu-Adjei kickstarted his football journey at Fulham and gained valuable experience through loan spells at Poole Town and Leyton Orient, his hometown club.
