Hearts of Oak’s managing director, Delali Adiamah, has voiced optimism that the club will experience a positive transformation next season after enduring a challenging campaign this year.
The Phobians were only three points above the relegation zone before securing a 3-0 away victory against Berekum Chelsea two weeks ago. This win elevated them to 11th place on the table, now six points clear of the relegation zone.
Prior to this crucial victory, Hearts of Oak had lost five of their last six league matches. Reflecting on the club’s troubled season, Adiamah expressed confidence that the team’s fortunes will improve next season.
“Next season, I believe things will be better. We are not discussing relegation issues. We understand the current situation and are committed to earning more points,” he told Asempa FM. “Our focus is on finishing this season strongly and planning our approach for the next season.”
Hearts of Oak will face Aduana FC on the weekend of May 17 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
