While Ivory Coast managed a consolation goal, Ghana quickly responded through Gbafa, followed by Mensah’s emphatic contribution, sealing a dominant victory for the hosts.

With this significant win, Ghana establishes a commanding position in Group A, edging closer to semifinal qualification ahead of their upcoming match against Benin.

Conversely, Ivory Coast faces the threat of elimination unless they secure a victory in their next encounter with Benin.
