Ghanaian midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp has committed his future to Crystal Palace by signing a one-year contract extension, keeping him at the club until 2025.
The contract extension, announced on May 10, comes as Palace gears up for their upcoming fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers, marking a significant move for Schlupp and the club.
Schlupp’s extension aligns with a series of contract renewals involving Palace players, with Will Hughes and Joel Ward also prolonging their stays until 2025.
Conversely, the club has confirmed the departure of defender James Tomkins and midfielder Jairo Riedewald at the end of the season.
Since joining Palace from Leicester City, where he won the Premier League title, Schlupp has been a consistent performer, playing a crucial role in the club’s Premier League journey.
Having made 230 appearances for Crystal Palace as of now, Schlupp has contributed two goals and two assists in 28 league games this season.
His fellow Black Stars teammate and Palace player Jordan Ayew had previously extended his contract until 2025 earlier in the campaign.
