Ouattara: “Hearts of Oak, Not Me, Are Under Pressure” After Kotoko Defeat

Accra Hearts of Oak’s Head Coach, Aboubakar Ouattara, has stated that he personally feels no pressure despite the team’s recent struggles in the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians faced another setback with a loss to their fierce rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, in the Super Clash at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday, May 26, 2024.

During the post-match press conference, when asked about the pressure to deliver results, Ouattara emphasized that the pressure is on the team as a whole, not on him individually.

“The reality of football is that sometimes you can’t score or play well. We didn’t take our chances. Kotoko were the better side today, and I congratulate them. We played badly once again. No, I am not under pressure, the team is under pressure. We need the points to survive,” Ouattara explained.
