League One side Reading has decided not to pursue a permanent deal for Nigerian winger Paul Mukairu, who was on loan from FC Copenhagen. Despite making 38 appearances and contributing six goals and three assists during his loan spell, Mukairu has returned to his parent club. The 24-year-old, who previously played under assistant manager Rubén Sellés at FC Copenhagen, leaves Reading as they await further updates on his career. Despite Mukairu’s departure, his impressive performances earned him recognition, including being named the Bristol Street Motors Trophy Player of the Round for the Group Stage.
