Ertuğrul Doğan, the president of Trabzonspor, has disclosed the transfer fee demanded by Southampton for Paul Onuachu.

Southampton has set a price tag of €15 million for Onuachu, equivalent to approximately ₦25 billion in Nigerian currency.

Since joining Trabzonspor on loan in September 2023, the Super Eagles striker has made a significant impact, tallying 14 goals and 4 assists in 20 Super League matches.

His stellar performances have prompted Trabzonspor to pursue a permanent deal for the Nigerian international, potentially making him the club’s most expensive signing to date, surpassing Majeed Waris’s current record of €6.9 million.

President Ertuğrul Doğan, speaking to TRT Radio via Ntvspor, confirmed ongoing negotiations with Southampton and expressed confidence in reaching an agreement.
