Winning Brings Happiness to Asante Kotoko Fans

Prosper Narteh Ogum, the head coach of Asante Kotoko, emphasized the joy that winning brings to the club’s fans, technical team, and players.

Following a seven-game winless streak, the team bounced back with two wins and a draw in their last three matches.

Ogum expressed his sentiments after Asante Kotoko secured a 2-0 victory over Legon Cities at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Ghana Premier League victor praised the significance of winning football matches for the supporters. “Our supporters always crave victories. When we win, they rejoice, and so do we,” Ogum conveyed to StarTimes.

Steven Mukwala broke the deadlock after 33 minutes by converting a penalty, although its awarding remained a topic of debate.

Yussif Mohammed Nurudeen doubled the lead for the home side just five minutes into the second half with a scrappy finish. The match concluded with Asante Kotoko clinching a 2-0 victory.
