Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger, Ademola Lookman, has been honored as Atalanta B.C.’s Player of the Season for 2023/24, successfully defending his title from the previous year.

The Bergamo-based side had a remarkable season both in continental and domestic competitions. Atalanta reached two finals, with Lookman playing a crucial role throughout the campaign.

He was instrumental in Atalanta’s UEFA Europa League victory, where they defeated Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 in the final. The club announced on Thursday that Lookman has been named the ‘Player of the Season.’
