Brighton and Leeds United in Race to Sign Ghanaian Forward Edmund Baidoo

Brighton & Hove Albion and Leeds United are both vying for the signature of Ghanaian forward Edmund Baidoo, who has been making waves in Norway’s second-tier league with Sogndal Fotball.

Baidoo has impressed with nine goals and seven assists in the first half of the season, attracting significant interest from various clubs. His consistent high-level performances have caught the eye of Premier League teams, with Brighton already making contact with the forward and his representatives.

Leeds United, who narrowly missed promotion to the Premier League last season, are also keen on securing Baidoo’s services. In addition to interest from English clubs, Scottish giants Celtic and Belgian side Club Brugge KV are also in pursuit of the talented attacker.

The 18-year-old Baidoo joined Sogndal in March this year from AsanSka FC and has quickly adapted to his new environment, making a strong impact. Although his contract with Sogndal runs until 2027, his impressive form could lead to an earlier move.

With multiple clubs competing for his talents, Baidoo’s future looks promising as he continues to attract attention from top European teams.
