Former Serie A champions Napoli are reportedly willing to lower their asking price for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen as his future with the club remains uncertain.
Initially, Napoli had set a €150M release clause for the 25-year-old striker, deterring potential buyers. However, according to Calciomercato.com’s Daniele Longo, the club is now considering offers of around €100M to generate necessary transfer funds for new manager Antonio Conte, who is eager to acquire Belgian international Romelu Lukaku this summer.
Despite being rumored as a leading contender for Osimhen, Chelsea has not engaged in any negotiations with Napoli. Currently, the primary options for Osimhen seem to be the Saudi Pro-League, which has reportedly offered him a €40M annual salary, or Paris Saint-Germain. However, Osimhen prefers a move to the English Premier League and is not enthusiastic about the other two possibilities.
