2024 Olympics: GOC Official Reports Ghanaian Athletes Remain Calm Ahead of Games

Benjamin William Graham, Deputy Communications Director of the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC), has assured that Ghanaian athletes are remaining calm and composed as they prepare for the 2024 Olympic Games. In an exclusive interview with ChannelOne Sports, Graham highlighted the serene demeanor of the team as they continue their training in Strasbourg, France, ahead of the Games, which commence on July 26 in Paris.

The nine-member Ghanaian contingent includes swimmers Joselle Mensah and Harry Stacey, high jumper Rose Yeboah, and members of the Men’s 4×100 Relay Team, such as Benjamin Azamati and Joseph Paul Amoah.

Despite Ghana’s only medal being a bronze at the 2020 Olympics, Graham noted that the athletes are approaching their preparations “one day at a time.” He emphasized their professionalism and experience from competing in various meets and championship races around the world, contributing to their calm and confident mindset.
