Ghanaian midfielder Alfred Duncan has joined Venezia FC on a contract extending until the end of the 2025/2026 season, with an option for renewal. Duncan, 31, cited the club’s compelling project and vision as key reasons for his move.
“I chose Venezia FC because of the exciting project presented by the club and the coach,” Duncan shared. “I’m proud to be part of it and eager to contribute.”
Duncan, who started his career at Inter Milan and has accumulated 304 Serie A appearances, 14 goals, and 17 assists, brings extensive experience to Venezia. He has previously played for Livorno, Sampdoria, Sassuolo, Cagliari, and Fiorentina.
With 10 international caps for Ghana and experience in the Conference League and Europa League qualifiers and finals, Duncan joins Venezia after leaving Fiorentina, where he scored two goals and provided five assists in 41 appearances last season.
His addition is expected to bolster Venezia’s midfield as they prepare for the upcoming Serie A season.
