Benjamin Azamati and Rasheed Saminu Secure Slots for Paris 2024 Olympics

Benjamin Azamati has officially qualified for the 100m event at the 2024 Olympics in Paris through his world ranking. Azamati, who finished 39th in the world ranking, will represent Ghana in both the 100m and 4x100m relay events.

Rasheed Saminu, another Ghanaian sprinter, has also qualified for the 100m and 200m events at the upcoming Paris Olympics. Saminu finished 54th in the 100m World Ranking and met the entry standard for the 200m event.

They join high jumper Rose Yeboah and the 4x100m relay team, adding to Ghana’s representation in Swimming and Track & Field at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
