Crystal Palace is reportedly ready to entertain offers for Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew as they prepare a substantial bid for Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe. Palace is willing to pay £35 million for Smith Rowe following Michael Olise’s departure to Bayern Munich, according to sports journalist Ed Aarons.
In addition to Ayew, French forward Odsonne Edouard is also expected to leave the club, with Senegal international Ismaila Sarr being targeted as a potential replacement. Ayew signed a contract extension last season, which is set to expire on June 30, 2025. His form dipped in the latter part of the season after Oliver Glasner took over from Roy Hodgson as manager.
Last season, Ayew recorded four goals and eight assists in 37 appearances for Palace. He also became the first player to score a hat-trick for the Black Stars since 2017, netting three goals in Ghana’s 4-3 victory over the Central African Republic in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
