Former Samartex Midfielder Abdul Dauda Seidu Commits to Success with New Rwandan Club

Former FC Samartex 1996 midfielder, Abdul Dauda Seidu, has pledged to give his all to help his new team, Armee Police Rwanda, achieve success.

In a statement on his X (formerly Twitter) page, Dauda expressed his commitment following the completion of his two-year deal with the Rwandan side.

Having excelled in the 2023-2024 Ghana Premier League season, where Samartex won the league title in only their second season, Dauda’s move is highly anticipated. Samartex will represent Ghana in the upcoming CAF Champions League.

Joining former Kumasi Asante Kotoko midfielder Richmond Lamptey at APR, Dauda expressed his excitement, stating, “It is the proudest day of my life to join the greatest club in the history of the game. I will absolutely give everything I have to help this team win.”

During the 2023-2024 season, Seidu registered three goals and five assists in 28 league appearances for Samartex.
