The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has reiterated its support for the Black Princesses as they gear up for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo and Deputy General Secretary Alex Sakyi Asante visited the team’s camp in Cape Coast to convey the backing of both the GFA and the government.

“We are here to affirm that we are fully behind you,” Addo told the team. “With the dedication you’ve shown, we believe you’ll make Ghana proud on the global stage.”

He emphasized the GFA’s commitment to providing the necessary resources for a successful campaign, assuring the team of a smooth preparation process.

The delegation, which included other GFA officials and committee members, was warmly received by head coach Yussif Basigi, who expressed his gratitude for the support.

The Black Princesses will begin their World Cup journey against Austria on September 2, with additional matches against Japan and New Zealand.
