Ghana U20 Defender Nana Kwame Boakye Joins Sheriff Tiraspol Ahead of Europa League Qualifier

Black Satellites defender Nana Kwame Boakye has officially joined Moldovan top-flight club Sheriff Tiraspol. The young defender signed his first professional contract with the club and is expected to make his debut today in the Europa League qualifier against Zira FC.

Boakye has been training with Sheriff Tiraspol for the past few weeks, impressing the technical team with his performance.

“Ghanaian defender Nana Kwame Boakye has become a full-fledged player of FC Sheriff. Kwame may make his debut for the team in today’s match. The FC Sheriff team is glad to welcome Kwame and wishes him good luck in the jersey of our club,” the club announced.

Boakye has made six appearances for Ghana’s U20 team, the Black Satellites.
