Ghanaian winger Ibrahim Osman made his debut for English club Brighton and Hove Albion in their pre-season match against Kashima Antlers in Japan.
The 19-year-old forward traveled with the team to Tokyo for their pre-season tour, where they will play two matches. Osman was included in the starting lineup for the game against Kashima Antlers, where the Premier League team dominated their opponents with a 5-1 victory on Wednesday morning.
Fellow summer signing, Gambian forward Yankuba Minteh, opened the scoring in the 15th minute, giving the Seagulls a one-goal lead at halftime. The entire lineup was changed after the break, and Jeremy Sarmiento and Yasin Ayari scored two quick goals in the second half. Amario Cozier-Duberry added a brace to make it 5-0 before Homare Tokuda scored a late consolation goal for the hosts.
Brighton will next face Tokyo Verdy as they continue their preparations for the upcoming season.
