Athletes from Greater Accra will gather at the Eagle Choice Event Hall at Dansoman Roundabout on Saturday, July 27, 2024, for the Functional Sports Tournament Qualifiers for both males and females.

The organizers aim to select the best athletes to represent the Greater Accra Region in the National Championship, scheduled for November this year.

The event will begin at 2 p.m. sharp, and participants are required to wear sports attire.

Registration costs 30 GHS, and participants will pay 70 GHS. There are attractive prizes to be won after the competition.

Mr. Owusu Ansah, president of the Ghana Functional Sports Federation, stated that they are dedicated to developing, growing, and promoting functional sports as a competitive contest in Ghana.
