Grejohn Kyei Joins Standard Liege from Clermont Foot

Ghanaian forward Grejohn Kyei has secured a move to Belgian club Standard Liege ahead of the 2024/25 season, leaving French side Clermont Foot.

The 28-year-old has inked a three-year contract with Standard Liege, marking a new chapter in his career.

“Standard de Liege and Grejohn Kyei have reached an agreement: the French striker has just signed a three-season contract with our club. Our club welcomes Grejohn and wishes him the best in our colors,” announced the club in a statement confirming his arrival.

Kyei began his career in France with Stade Reims before moving to Switzerland to join Servette FC. During his tenure, he also had a loan spell at RC Lens.

For the past two seasons, Kyei has been with Clermont Foot, where he made 79 appearances and scored 12 goals before the club’s relegation to Ligue 2.

This move to Standard Liege represents a fresh challenge for Kyei, who aims to make an impact in Belgian football.
