Super Eagles forward Sadiq Umar is reportedly attracting interest from top European clubs as he seeks a fresh start away from Real Sociedad, according to Sportblog247.com.
The former Partizan striker has been linked with potential moves to Sevilla and Valencia in Spain, as well as Bologna in Italy, all of whom are considering loan deals to bolster their attacking options.
While there has been no official confirmation from either Nigeria’s national team or Real Sociedad, reports suggest that Umar has been eager to find more consistent playing time.
Last season, Umar faced challenges at Real Sociedad, enduring a lengthy absence due to an Achilles tendon injury that sidelined him for seven months. As a result, the 27-year-old made only 15 starts out of a possible 53 matches across all competitions.
With interest brewing from multiple clubs across Europe, Umar is hopeful of securing a move that will provide him with regular opportunities on the pitch.
