Nigeria forward Terem Moffi is poised to rejoin OGC Nice this week after a three-week break following the conclusion of the 2023/24 season, as reported by Sportblog247.com.
Moffi, who recently represented Nigeria in World Cup qualifiers, is scheduled to return on Wednesday, July 3, along with teammates Jeremie Boga, Evann Guessand, and Aliou Baldé.
Upon his return, Moffi will undergo performance tests, coinciding with the club’s first public training session under new manager Franck Haise and his coaching staff.
Nice’s pre-season will kick off with closed-door matches against Lausanne on July 10 and Leganés on July 19 at their training center, gearing up for their Ligue 1 opener against Auxerre on the weekend of August 18 and the start of their Europa League campaign on September 25 or 26.
Celebrating 120 Years of OGC Nice Terem Moffi will also participate in OGC Nice’s grand celebration of their 120th anniversary on July 9 at Château hill. The event, scheduled from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., will feature various activities for fans to enjoy.
Founded in 1904, OGC Nice, or Olympique Gymnaste Club de Nice, holds a prestigious place in French football history, having secured Ligue 1 titles four times, the Trophée des Champions once, and the Coupe de France three times. Their peak came in the 1950s, with their most recent major trophy being the Coupe de France in 1997.
