Yaw Preko is set to become the new head coach of Nsoatreman FC after signing a two-year deal with the club, as exclusively reported by Ghana’s leading football website, Sportblog247.com.
Preko takes over from Maxwell Konadu, who left Nsoatreman earlier in the week to join South African second-tier side Black Leopards on a three-year deal. Konadu recently led Nsoatreman to their first-ever trophy, winning the MTN FA Cup, and was set to guide their debut CAF Confederation Cup campaign before parting ways amicably with the club.
Nsoatreman swiftly appointed Preko, who brings a wealth of experience to the role. The former Ghana U-20 coach has previously managed Hearts of Oak, King Faisal, and most recently, Medeama.
Preko will now have the opportunity to lead Nsoatreman’s historic African campaign. In addition to his new role, he will continue his duties as the Ghana U-15 boys national team coach, a position he was appointed to earlier.
Nsoatreman and their fans are excited to see what Preko can bring to the club as they embark on their journey in African football.
