The Women In Sports Association (WISA), with sponsorship from Ghandour Cosmetics, has released the list of awardees for its 2024 flagship program. The event, scheduled for Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the Accra Sports Stadium, will honor 31 distinguished individuals and organizations for their contributions to sports.

Among the honorees are Kelsey Woname (Fencing), Lawrencia Okailey Okine (Hockey), Sco Hagar Oboshie Laryea (Hockey), Mrs. Patience Baffoe-Bonnie (Ghana Prison Service), Betty Dzima (NSA), Perpetual Naa Ayikailey Okaijah (MMA/Boxing), and many others, including sports journalists and supporters.

WISA President, Madam Gloria Commodore, expressed her satisfaction with the impact of the awards over the past ten years, noting that past winners have continued to excel in their respective fields. She also announced that some former awardees will be present at this year’s ceremony to celebrate the occasion.
