Dutch Eredivisie club AZ Alkmaar has secured the future of 15-year-old Ghanaian winger Jahmael Ampofo by signing him to his first professional contract, which will keep him with the club until mid-2027.

This contract highlights AZ’s dedication to developing young talent and recognizes Ampofo’s impressive performances during his debut season with the club.

Ampofo, who joined AZ from ASC Waterwijk in Almere, has quickly made his mark, especially with standout performances in the Under-15 team and earning the Player of the Tournament title at the U15 Kolping International Cup.

The young winger has set ambitious goals for his future at AZ, including increasing his goal and assist contributions and making his debut with the first team soon.
