Bolton Wanderers Sign Ghanaian Defender Jordi Osei-Tutu on Two-Year Deal

Bolton Wanderers have completed the signing of English-born Ghanaian defender Jordi Osei-Tutu on a two-year contract, making him their seventh addition of the summer transfer window. The 25-year-old wing-back joins from VfL Bochum for an undisclosed fee and will enhance Ian Evatt’s options on the flanks for the upcoming season.

Osei-Tutu began his career at Reading before moving to Arsenal’s academy in 2015, gaining valuable experience through loan spells at Cardiff City, Nottingham Forest, and VfL Bochum. His successful stint at Bochum during the 2019-20 season saw him score five goals and provide three assists in 22 appearances.

After contributing to Rotherham United’s promotion and scoring a key equalizer in the Papa Johns Trophy final, Osei-Tutu spent last season with PAS Giannina in Greece.

Praised by Ian Evatt for his athleticism, dribbling skills, and 1-v-1 threat, Osei-Tutu is expected to make a significant impact at Bolton. He will wear the number 14 shirt as he enters the prime years of his career.
