Coach Abigi Id-Deen Arrives in Paris to Support Sprinter Abdul Rasheed Saminu

Coach Abigi Id-Deen, the personal coach and South Florida University assistant coach in track and field, has arrived in Paris, France, to support Team Ghana’s 100m sprinter Abdul Rasheed Saminu.

Coach Abigi, who has been working closely with Saminu at South Florida University, is at the athletics Games Village in Paris to motivate and support him as he prepares for his 100m race on Saturday alongside Benjamin Azamati.

Saminu has achieved notable success, including winning the 100m dash (10.03) and 200m dash (20.34) conference championships. He placed fifth at the NCAA Championships with a wind-legal personal best of 10.02 seconds in the 100m and secured third place in the 200m with a personal best time of 20.12 seconds. Additionally, Saminu placed fourth in the 200m at the African Championships and was part of Ghana’s winning 4×100 relay team.
