Columbus Crew Clinch MLS Leagues Cup; Yaw Yeboah Celebrates Second Title with the Club

Ghanaian forward Yaw Yeboah has secured his second title with Major League Soccer (MLS) side Columbus Crew after their 3-1 victory over Los Angeles Football Club (LA FC) in the MLS Leagues Cup final. Despite being an unused substitute, Yeboah celebrated with his team as they lifted the trophy, adding to the MLS Cup they won last season.

Olivier Giroud, former AC Milan striker and France’s all-time leading scorer, netted his first goal for LA FC in the match, but Columbus Crew sealed the win with two late goals. Yeboah, a former Right To Dream Academy player, has made 64 appearances for Columbus, scoring three goals. The 27-year-old has also represented Ghana at the senior level after progressing from the Black Satellites.
