Delegates have gathered at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram for the 30th Ordinary Congress of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), held from August 26-27, 2024. The event will bring together 124 representatives from Premier League Clubs, Women’s Premier League Clubs, Division One League, and Regional Football Associations to review the 2023-24 season and plan for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku will present updates on ongoing strategic initiatives and new proposals during the main session on August 27. The Congress will include discussions on key issues affecting Ghanaian football and strategies to address challenges.
The two-day event features a blend of business and leisure activities, including group discussions, presentations, and a photo session. Delegates will also participate in fun games, visit refurbished accommodation facilities, and witness the sod cutting for a new gymnasium and swimming pool. The Congress aims to enhance unity and set the course for the future of Ghanaian football.
