FIFA Licensed Agent Pamela Ansah-Asamoah fondly reflected on her time working with the late Alhaji Sly Tetteh, describing it as highly educational. In an exclusive interview with ChannelOne Sports, Ansah-Asamoah spoke about her experience with the renowned football administrator and scout during her tenure with the Scientific Soccer Lads.
Under Tetteh’s leadership, Liberty Professionals consistently performed as a top-four team in the Ghana Premier League and produced elite talents like Sulley Muntari, Michael Essien, Asamoah Gyan, and John Paintsil.
βI had an opportunity to relate with Sly (Tetteh). For him, the vision is what I learnt most. He loves it when you have the vision, when you have the passion. It was educative working with him, very educative working with him,β Ansah-Asamoah shared.
Sly Tetteh, who passed away in 2018 while playing football with fellow former players in Cape Coast, played for Sekondi Hasaacas before moving into football administration and founding Liberty Professionals.
The Dansoman-based club recently announced its transition from running as a professional football club to operating solely as a football academy.
