A groundbreaking initiative by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to boost grassroots football coaching began on Monday with the launch of the inaugural free License D Coaching Course in Kumasi.
Thirty aspiring coaches from Colts clubs across the Ashanti Region have embarked on a two-week intensive training program aimed at enhancing their tactical and technical skills.
The course is led by esteemed coaches Prince Acheampong (Sabuto) and Charles Anokye Frimpong, with oversight from Head of Coach Education Desmond Ofei.
This program is a crucial step in cultivating a new generation of coaches who will help develop young talent and support the growth of Ghanaian football.
The GFA plans to extend similar courses across all regions to ensure that each Colts club has at least one certified coach. By investing in grassroots coach development, the GFA is laying a solid foundation for the future of Ghanaian football.
