GFA Commended for Supporting Army Peace Operations Training School

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has received commendation from the Army Peace Operations Training School (APOTS) for its support in accommodating senior officers at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

The recognition was given during the APOTS’ UNIFIL GH 91 End of Pre-Deployment Training Parade and Wasa on Friday, August 9, 2024.

Since October 2021, the GFA has provided APOTS officers with a conducive environment for their training, demonstrating its commitment to national service. The GFA also made its facilities available as a COVID-19 treatment center during the pandemic.

APOTS’ commendation underscores the GFA’s role as a responsible corporate citizen, contributing beyond football to public health and national security.
