GFA President Kurt Okraku Refutes Allegations of Referee Influence

Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku has strongly denied allegations that he or the GFA exerts influence over referees. Addressing the claims, which have circulated in recent seasons, Okraku labeled them as “completely false” during a press conference in Sunyani. He emphasized his administration’s commitment to the integrity and development of Ghanaian football, dismissing the accusations as a “non-existent theory.” In addition, Okraku announced plans to elevate the National Division One League by securing television coverage, a move aimed at boosting the league’s visibility and commercial appeal, in line with the GFA’s focus on grassroots development.
