Ghana’s David Tweneboah Koduah Selected as International Technical Official for 2024 Paralympic Games

David Tweneboah Koduah, a sports coach at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), has been appointed as an International Technical Official for the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris, scheduled from August 28 to September 8, 2024.

Koduah, who plays a significant role in the development of Para Sports in Ghana, oversees the University Goalball Teams at UCC and serves as the Technical Director of the Ghana Blind Sports Association (GBSA). He also represents the Ghana University Sports Association (GUSA) on the National Paralympic Committee of Ghana (NPC-Ghana).

A recognized expert in Goalball, Koduah is the only International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) Goalball Level 2 Referee in West Africa and one of just six across the African continent. His extensive experience includes being a member of the IBSA Goalball Taskforce and formerly serving as the African representative on the IBSA Goalball Sub-Committee from 2022 to 2024.

Koduah’s selection as an International Technical Official at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games highlights his dedication and expertise in Para Sports, particularly in Goalball.
