Golden Hands Bill: WBO Africa Bantamweight Title Showdown at TreeHouse Restaurant Set for September 14

The much-anticipated boxing event, dubbed the ‘Golden Hands’ bill, is set for September 14, 2024, at the Tree House Restaurant in Labone, Accra. The event, promoted by Swavy Blu in collaboration with Legacy and Shiatse Promotions, will feature Ghana’s undefeated Daniel Gorsh, the UBO Africa and LBO Super Bantamweight Champion, as he challenges Benin’s Ghislain Vodounhessi for the WBO Africa Bantamweight Title.

Gorsh, known as “The Emperor,” is determined to add another title to his collection and has called on political leaders to attend the event, using it as an opportunity to promote peace and unity as Ghana approaches its election period. The 24-year-old, with an impressive record of 12-0, 9 KOs, aims to become Ghana’s next world champion.

Vodounhessi, a seasoned fighter with 27 professional bouts under his belt, is eager to avenge his only knockout defeat, which occurred in 2020 at the hands of another Ghanaian, Wasiru Mohammed. Now training at Jamestown Gym under Coach Randy Amugi, Vodounhessi is poised to give Gorsh a tough challenge in what promises to be an electrifying bout.

Matchmaker Augustus Dodoo, also known as Onelife, has assured fans that the ‘Golden Hands’ bill will be one of the most memorable promotions of the year, bringing high-quality boxing action to the people of Labone and surrounding communities.
