Ghana National Women’s League champions, Hasaacas Ladies, have arrived in Bouake, Cote d’Ivoire, ahead of the WAFU Zone B Women’s Champions League qualifiers. The team, led by their technical staff and management, touched down on Friday as they prepare for the competition, which serves as a qualifier for the CAF Women’s Champions League later this year. This marks Hasaacas Ladies’ second appearance in the zonal championship, where they have been placed in a challenging Group B alongside Nigeria’s Edo Queens, AS Garde National, and Omini Sport Etincelle. The winner of the tournament will represent WAFU Zone B in the CAF Women’s Champions League. Hasaacas Ladies, who were runners-up in the inaugural edition in 2021, are aiming to return to the elite women’s football championship after a three-year absence.
