Leicester City Reach Agreement to Sign Jordan Ayew from Crystal Palace

Black Stars forward Jordan Ayew is set to join Leicester City after the club reached an agreement with Crystal Palace. The deal, reported by Edmund Brack of the South London Press, involves an initial fee of £8 million with additional add-ons for the 32-year-old player.

Ayew’s move to Leicester City comes after he fell down the pecking order at Crystal Palace, particularly following the arrival of Ismaila Sarr, who was brought in to replace Michael Olise after his transfer to Bayern Munich.

Leicester City initially offered £4 million for Ayew before increasing their bid to £6 million. Palace had originally sought £10 million, while Ayew also attracted interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia.

Ayew, who was in the final year of his contract with Palace, has previously worked with Leicester City manager Steve Cooper during their time at Swansea City. He will join fellow Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku at Leicester City.
